My first impression was "wow". I can see that you have carefully chosen not to center the path in the frame. The angle and placement of the horizon compliments the composition of the image and the shape of the path does not permit the viewer to see the end of the road, which makes the image more appealing for the viewer. It is interesting how you have chosen a very "blue" color balance to suggest a cold temperature or a sense of emotional detachment, where the title comes into play. The exposure also suggests a sense of "unknown" in it's darkness. Overall, your picture was very well calibrated towards your title.

absolutely!

the blueness gives it dreamlike qualities... like out of a fairytale. the haze is enough to obscure an uncertain future around that bend...with just enough green to give a tinge of hopefulness
